Karl E. Waite, M.D.
Retina Specialist
Born and raised in Daytona Beach, Dr. Waite graduated magna cum laude and completed his M.D. at the University of South Florida. His surgical training began at Mt. Sinai Medical Center and continued at Nassau University, where he completed his ophthalmology residency and served as Chief Resident. After that, Dr. Waite became a vitreoretinal fellow and retinal surgeon at the Retina Institute of Hawaii. He has also been an investigator for various research studies. When he is not restoring vision to his patients, Dr. Waite likes to enjoy the water and the outdoors with his family.
