I 1st met Dr Kumar in 2018 when… I needed an emergency lucentis injection. That one visit he was so caring he took his time explaining my eye issue and even went over the photos with me.
I have been going to Dr Feinstein, monthly, at the Oviedo location for over a year. I have never gone to an office where the entire staff and the doctor are like old friends. This is one of the friendliest offices I have ever had the privilege of dealing with.

All I can say is thank you so very much. I am in town visiting from Southern Indiana. I had symptoms that led me to believe I had a detached retina. I had a vitreous detachment. This office got me in very quickly and the outcome was the best I could have asked for. Dr. Safi was awesome and very nice!

Staff was wonderful! I called this morning in a panic about an urgent eye matter and I spoke to Leena. First off, she answered my call vs having me leave a voicemail as a lot of offices do. She was kind, patient, incredibly helpful and she was able to get me a same-day appointment. Unheard of! Especially for a new patient. I was very concerned about my eye issue and had been told by several other offices that I couldn’t be seen until May or June and that I should go to an emergency room. Leena took the time to listen to details of my issue and said I could be seen today. Such a relief.
From the moment I stepped into the office, it was more of the same. Once I checked in (which was a breeze), I observed the staff helping other patients, and the patience and kindness your staff exhibited was truly outstanding! I saw a nurse come out from the back office to assist a patient with an insurance issue. I could see that your staff goes the extra mile and it’s really rare to see so I wanted to point it out. My experience with all of the nurses was excellent and my visit with Dr. Feinstein was also great. He did a thorough examination and I was relieved to know I wasn’t going to lose my eyeball!
Upon checkout, I was able to get payment info on the spot, which is another bonus and I was able to schedule my follow-up appointment with ease. Then, on my way home my husband had another question about my appointment and we were able to reach a nurse (Carol) and she took the time to go ask the doctor and got us an immediate answer. That again is something that is UNHEARD of. I can’t tell you how many times doctors’ offices send you to voicemail and it takes 24-48 hours or longer to get answers.

From the moment that I walked into Central Florida Retina, I felt cared for. As a biologist/teacher and patient I felt that Dr. Olson explained my eye condition thoroughly. His in-depth explanation of causes and possible effects gave me peace as I left the office.
